Being an entrpreneur was never my original goal, and it has been a learning process to be sure. Eleven years into practice I'm glad to wear this hat.
I take pride in the fact that I spend a LOT of time with a new person...90-120 minutes. I need this time to really understand a person's state of health and make a plan of action. I think folks appreciate it as well, especially given the time allotted in a conventional setting.
For a long time I let fear stop me from charging a rate that reflects the time spent. Instead I defaulted to my one hour visit fee.
